The International Conference on Spoken Language Translation (IWSLT) is an annual scientific conference, associated with shared tasks on spoken language translation, where both scientific papers and system descriptions are presented.

The 24th edition of IWSLT will be co-located with ACL 2027 in Kyoto, Japan.

Shared Tasks

For the first time, IWSLT is not only hosting shared tasks with the usual timeline, but it is also experimenting with year-round leaderboards to keep track of the progress in the community over the whole timeframe.

Year-Round Evaluation Submissions

Year-round evaluation is currently available for:

Submission for these tasks is open. Submit your model outputs to our evaluation server. You will receive an email message when your system has been evaluated (typically within a day or two) so you can check its position in the leaderboard.

Traditional Shared Task Submissions

Other tasks will be announced soon and will follow the same schedule.
